Privacy Policy

Goblinbound is a game in development by Axinovium ("we", "us"). This page explains what we collect on goblinbound.com, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we only want your email so we can send you a beta invite and launch news. We never sell it.
What we collect
When you join the beta waitlist we store:
- your email address;
- when you signed up and when you confirmed your email;
- a short source tag showing which link brought you (for example "tiktok" or "direct"), so we know which channels work.
We don't ask for your name, location or anything else, and we don't build profiles about you.
Why we use it
- To send you a beta invite when places open.
- To send news about Goblinbound, such as the Steam launch and big updates. We send these rarely.
We do this with your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming your email (the legal basis under the GDPR and UK GDPR is consent, Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.
Confirming your email
After you sign up we send one confirmation email. You're only added to the list once you click the link in it. If you don't confirm within 30 days, we delete the signup.
Who handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send emails. They process your data only on our instructions:
- Website hosting: Lovable, which also stores the waitlist.
- Email delivery: Lovable Cloud email (our hosting provider’s built-in email service), which sends the confirmation and newsletter emails.
Some of these providers may store data outside your country (for example in the United States). When that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. When the waitlist is no longer needed we delete the whole list.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete your data, or to stop emailing you. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to us by email. If you live in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
The waitlist is for people aged 13 or older. In some countries the minimum age to agree to this yourself is higher (up to 16 in parts of the EU); if that applies where you live, you need to be that age. If we learn that someone under the minimum age has signed up, we delete their email.
Cookies, analytics and videos
- The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.
- We may count visits with cookie-free analytics that don't identify you or follow you across other sites.
- Fonts and our own gameplay clips are served from our website.
- YouTube videos only load when you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video plays, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell people on the waitlist by email.
